STUDIO

The studio is the heritage listed church built in 1860, and provides a unique working environment with vaulted ceilings and arched windows. The studio is well lit by natural light, and also by warm spotlights which are adjustable.The church studio is heated in winter by a large, efficient, modern wood burning heater. 

Workshops and events

Studio workshops and art and craft classes include drawing with Charles and printmaking with Patricia as well as master classes with specialist tutors.  Other events include forums and concerts.

Upcoming exhibitions:

The Watercourse Way - an exhibition of prints and works on paper by artists from the Huon River Valley and the D’Entrecasteaux Channel regions of Southern Tasmania.  Artists include Deborah Wace, Michael Schlitz, Ros Meeker, John Farrow, Cath de Little, Rowena Bond, Annick Ansselin, Patricia Zuber and Charles Zuber.

Opening is 6pm on Thursday 9th September and the exhibition will run until Sunday 19th September.  Opening hours are 11am to 5pm.

Upcoming workshops:

Relief printmaking workshops with Patricia Zuber.  These will be small group and tailored workshops to suit individual times and needs.  The workshops will run for one or two Sundays when a mininum of four enrol.  Cost is $95 per Sunday and includes materials and tea/coffee.  BYO lunch.  Ph Patricia on 6266 3347 or 0421 456 656.

Also coming up is a Japanese woodblock printmaking demonstration workshop with artist Michael Schlitz.  Date, time and cost will be published soon.
